Come and Worship

New Fall Worship Schedule (starting September 12th)
8:00, 9:15 and 10:50 a.m. Traditional services
9:25 and 11:00 a.m. Contemporary services

Worship is the heart of our Christian life and the heart of the Body of Christ, the church. Worship pumps the lifeblood through our life of faith.   Therefore, worship at Atonement is designed to usher people into the presence of God. Because people come from different walks of life and traditions, Atonement offers two styles of worship. Each style gives the worshipper an opportunity to sing praises to God and hear His word in a teaching that is relevant and connects with daily life.

You are welcome to come to worship as you are. The diversity of dress in worship is as varied as is Atonement itself in age and background. You will find everything from jeans and t-shirt to shirts and ties and dresses. Children are not only welcome in worship but families are encouraged to attend together. Every service has a children's time for age appropriate teaching for younger children.

Atonement is accessible and open to all people regardless of physical or learning disabilities. The entrances and worship spaces have no steps for those attending and the people are caring. We believe that not only is every person welcome, but that they are cherished and loved by God.

Traditions

Sundays @ 8:00 a.m. & 9:30 a.m.

Celebrated in Atonement’s sanctuary, Traditions worship lives up to its name as we worship the Lord through familiar hymns, prayers, creeds and liturgy in the tradition of our heritage and faith.

Traditions means you are in a time of worship where families of all ages can find the comfort of familiarity that never grows old, and is often led in a fresh way. Occasionally blended in are more recent sacred songs of praise and worship. If you love to worship the Lord with choral music, bell choirs and the sound of the church organ, piano, and other instruments, this is Atonement’s worship service that will fill your week with joy.

We invite you to come to Traditions and worship God with praise and thanksgiving through scripture, message, music and liturgy, that is well-known yet new each week.

Aflame Worship

Sundays @ 10:45 a.m. in the ARK

The Aflame worship service is Spirit filled and Spirit led. The style of the service is in contemporary format. The music is frequently guitar or keyboard driven and song selections tend to be from 2005 to the present, but hymns are not excluded. The music is done in a variety of different ways with the overall focus on God and not the music.

Worshippers are free to worship our God in whatever way He leads and inspires them to worship Him: standing, sitting, kneeling, jumping, silently, shouting, raising hands, bowing heads, and any other way the Lord brings worshippers to His throne.

The service is held in a worship space Atonement calls the ARK. The ARK is a gymnasium that has been designed to be conducive to worship.
